I have always felt very close to issues regarding ethics of consumerism and went on to study such issues at degree level. I am now starting to set-up my own business in fairly traded and environmentally aware clothing. If I can make it easier for people to choose ethical clothing that they can both afford and love, I will be a very happy woman.

Please can you help me by telling me what you all want from your clothing? Whether it be price, design, clothing fit, available sizes anything will help!

Dear Sir, Madam,

Since 2007 EJF has developed a fantastic range of ethically made organic cotton t-shirts
for men and women. The t-shirts are designed by global fashion designers, printed with
organic cotton prints and have been photographed on celebrities and opinion formers
around the world. The aim of the t-shirts is to raise funds and awareness for EJF work
defending the environmental and human rights of communities in the developing world
suffering environmental injustices. EJF has a particular campaign called Pick Your Cotton
Carefully to address the worst abuses of the cotton industry - hence the super t-shirts.
They are very popular across a wide age group given the style of the prints and the
different designer names. Due to popular demand the charity wholesales the t-shirts internationally.

Would you be interesting in featuring a review?

I look forward to hearing back,

Warm regards,
Valerie

I am writing you because I am developing a website called Verdigris LLC and it will look like 1st Dibs.com. My inspiration is Jane Goodall and Ed Begley "who have endorsed us"to only present recycled art and objects at a very high end level. My clients would be the persons that shop at Asprey's or Museums.

Very candidly, I would like to present your work .....Please look at 1st dibs and let me know what you think.

Thank you,

How many good reasons can you think of why home made is definitely better than off the peg - cost, style, satisfaction, environment, ethical, unique, good-fit, creativity... try sewing magazines for great ideas and free patterns.
